Raja (Eng: King) is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by Ezhil which stars Ajith Kumar, Jyothika, Priyanka Trivedi, Mantra and Sonu Sood in the lead roles.
The film opened in July 2002 to mixed reviews and performed poorly at the box office. Simran supposed to do the role, which was played by Priyanka Trivedi.
Simran refused the offer due to lack of confidence in the script. The film’s music was composed by S. A. Rajkumar. The film was dubbed into Telugu as Nuvvu Naaku Kavali.
