Thotti Jaya is an 2005 Tamil gangster film released in 2005. It was written and directed by Durai. The film features Silambarasan and Gopika in lead roles.
The soundtrack was composed by Harris Jayaraj. Despite critical acclaims the film managed to do only average business at the box office.
Jayachandran (Simbu) is an orphan working in a hotel as a helper. It is assumed he gets his title name “Thotti Jaya” as he is found in a garbage bin as an infant.
