En Bommukutty Ammavukku is a 1988 Tamil film, starring Sathyaraj, Suhasini, Geetu Mohandas and Raghuvaran. It is a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku by Fazil. The film was well received in the Tamil box office as well. The film went on screens and passed the 100-day mark. It was the second victorious project for the Fazil-Sathyaraj duo.
A couple (Suhasini and Sathyaraj) who lost their daughter in an accident decides to adopt a girl from the local orphanage. But problems arise when the child’s real mother (Rekha) and father (Raghuvaran) seek to find her.
