Jagame Thandhiram (Eng: The Universe is a Ruse) is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by S. Sashikanth and Chakravarthy Ramachandra of YNOT Studios, along with Reliance Entertainment.
The film stars Dhanush, James Cosmo, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Kalaiyarasan. It marks the Indian film debut of Cosmo and the Tamil debut of George. It follows Suruli, a carefree gangster in Madurai, who is recruited to help an overseas crime lord take down a rival, but later caught off guard by the moral dilemmas that follow.
