Pallaburusu is a 2026 family comedy-drama film originally shot in Telugu and widely released with a popular Tamil dubbed version. The film has garnered significant praise for its heartwarming and quirky premise.
The story follows Shamboo, a lonely 68-year-old villager who suffers from a severe toothache. He asks his busy, materialistically driven son, Tirupati, to buy him a simple toothbrush.
Wrapped up in stressful wedding preparations, Tirupati repeatedly neglects his father’s basic request. Feeling unloved and stripped of his dignity, Shamboo takes a hilariously extreme step, he files a legal lawsuit against his own son over the toothbrush.
