Pennin Perumai (Eng: Woman’s Pride) is a 1956 Tamil language film starring Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, Savithri and M. N. Rajam in the lead roles.
It is remake of Telugu movie Ardhangi which stars Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, Savitri, Gummadi, Jagayya and P. Santha Kumari. Based on the story Swayam Siddha by Manilal Benerjee.
The music was composed by B. Narasimha Rao and A. Rama Rao. Background score was provided by Master Venu. All lyrics were penned by Thanjai N. Ramaiah Dass.
Playback singers are Seerkazhi Govindarajan, Ghantasala, T. M. Soundararajan, P. Leela, Jikki & P. Suseela.
