Samayalkaran is a 1974 Tamil comedy-drama film directed by R. Krishnan and S. Panju. It stars M.K. Muthu and Vennira Aadai Nirmala in the leading roles, with M.R. Radha, Thengai Srinivasan, Manorama and VK Ramasamy also featuring. The film’s soundtrack was composed by the legendary M. S. Viswanathan.
The movie is an official remake of Tapan Sinha’s classic 1966 Bengali comedy film Galpo Holeo Satti.
The story follows a mysterious, skilled chef who arrives to work at a chaotic, highly problematic household.
