The Yellow Elephant is a 2026 Tamil emotional drama film centered around human-animal relationships and wildlife conservation. Directed by Baskaran Arumugam, the film skipped a traditional theatrical window and was released as a direct-to-OTT premiere on September 4.
The film stars comedians Sendrayan and Soori breaking away from their typical comedic spaces to deliver grounded, heavy, content-driven dramatic performances. The story takes place in the forests of southern Tamil Nadu during the 1990s.
