Udhaya Geetham is a 1985 Indian Tamil language movie directed by K. Rangaraj. The film stars Mohan, Lakshmi and Revathi in the lead, while Goundamani and Senthil appear in the comic subplot.
The film’s widely acclaimed soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film tells the story of a successful stage singer who is in jail for a murder he did not commit, and a young girl who believes his story, and promises to free him from prison.
The film was critically acclaimed and commercially successful upon release.
